We spent the first day in Seattle and Bellevue. Seattle was incredibly crowded so we only stayed for a a couple of hours. It turned out to be more of a driving tour than a walking tour because we were both so tired. I got to see some old friends and were able to walk around the temple grounds. They were doing work on the steeple so it looked a little unusual but it was still nice.

We spent the 4th at my sister Erin's house. She lives out in this little small town that is pretty country. Its wet enough there that fireworks are legal. They had a huge bonfire in the back yard and spent hours setting off fireworks. We ended up getting bumped off our return flight so we got another day in Washington. Erin came up to my parent's house with the kiddos we hung out for an extra day. Erin has 3 boys and a little girl that is 6 weeks older than Kensington. It was fun to see the 2 babies together. They have similarities but they are also so different.
